Stop The Leakage!

Looking for a simple, fast, affordable way to seal? This cool, new product can limit the loss of duct pressure, and may be the difference between 6% leakage fail and an under 5% leakage pass.

The polyethylene foam is non-toxic and does not need to be secured directly to the wall in order to allow for removal for painting, maintenance, and so forth without causing damage to the wall itself.

Check out the video below to see how it works, and then head on over to Zulu Mat's website to see their full line of products and where they are available for purchase.

California's title 24 regulations require that residential duct tests show less than 5% total leakage for 75% new, 100% accessible projects, and less than 15% total leakage for alterations. Check out this cost effective way to increase your pass rate for HERS Tests!

Note: the main page of Zulu Mat's website indicates that a 75% new, 100% accessible system requires a maximum of 6% leakage. With the 2016 standards, this was changed to 5% leakage.
