Our certifications and memberships in leading industry organizations are key to maintaining our edge. Our Energy Raters go through stringent training to become BPI Certified Professionals as well as certified HERS Raters, as a company, BPI GoldStar is the standard for our work and our customer service.
CHEERS – ConSol Home Energy Efficiency Rating Services
CHEERS, or ConSol Home Energy Efficiency Rating Services, has over 25 years of experience delivering a tracking system for HERS inspectors as well as providing ongoing training and technical support. CHEERS is a Home Energy Efficiency Rating (HERS) Registry certified by the California Energy Commission for residential HERS inspections. The Energuy relies on CHEERS to provide a high quality, cost-effective service that has a quick turnaround for approval of registered CF-1R forms.
WHPA – Western HVAC Performance Alliance
The Energuy is a Third Party Quality Assurance Provider member of the Western HVAC Performance Alliance (WHPA). WHPA is an industry advisory group whose members provide expert counsel to investor and publicly owned utilities and the California Energy Commission (CEC) with expert counsel from the building performance industry regarding HVAC systems.
BPI GoldStar – Building Performance Institute
The Energuy is a Third Party Quality Assurance Provider member of the Western HVAC Performance Alliance (WHPA). WHPA is an industry advisory group whose members provide expert counsel to investor and publicly owned utilities and the California Energy Commission (CEC) witThis company-wide certification is given only when a company commits to employing Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Professionals and doing work according to BPI Standards. Our team of BPI Certified Professionals have passed all of the appropriate written and in-field exams for their areas of speciality. We work with our team to maintain and upgrade their certifications.
CalCERTS
CalCERTS is the organization that certifies HERS Raters. In California, a HERS Rater is a special inspector for building departments. HERS Raters verify that HVAC systems are installed according to code, that work on new homes was performed correctly, and that the homeowner can expect the comfort and energy savings they paid for. Our team works with CalCERTS to ensure the ongoing training and mentoring program for our certified Energy.
